The Aim of this Medical College & Hospital is to teach selected cadidates for five academic years according to the syllabus laid down by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council ( BM&DC ) for MBBS degree to be a conferred by Chattagram Mdical University, Bangladesh and then impart training of closely supervised internship for one year to create high quality career as doctor for nation.

At the beginning of 1990, practical thinking for establishing non government medical colleges started functioning parallel to government medical colleges. In consequence of this in 2011 Mainamoti Medical College was established in Cumilla. Mainamoti Medical College & Hospital achieved international value by giving admission of foreign students at the end of five years & committed to give highest treatment facilities to the people.

The Mainamoti Medical College based on new purpose built buildings which offer state of the art learning facilities. These include libraries, study rooms, lecture theatres and auditoriums. A number of distinguished teachers have joined in each faculty to meet the demand of education of the increasing number of students.

Eligibility for Admission

The worldwide students must fit into the criteria mentioned below to enroll in institute:

  • Students who have passed SSC should have a total GPA of 9.00. (minimum 3.50 GPA in SSC or HSC).
  • All tribal students and residents of Hilly District should have a total GPA of 8.00. ( minimum 3.00 GPA in SSC or HSC).
  • The applicant shall complete the age of 17 years on or before the 31st December of the admission year for MBBS.
  • The applicant must have passed in 10+12 or equivalent exam in the subjects of physics, biology, English and chemistry.
  • The applicant must have obtained a minimum score of 50% marks together in physics, chemistry and biology subjects.
  • The open category students must secure an aggregate of 50% scores in PCB subjects.
  • The students who belong to ST/SC/OBC category must secure an aggregate of 45% scores in PCB subjects.
  • Indian candidates must be qualified in NEET examination.

Admission Process:

  • The candidates should fill the online application form available on the official website with correct details before the deadline dates hit.
  • Candidates should upload all scanned copies of important documents.
  • The candidate will get an offer letter within 48 hours from the university.
  • Once the offer letter comes, pay the first year MBBS course fee.
  • Students must apply for the visa procedure to get a valid passport.
  • Wait for some days, as the visa processing will take 30 days of the period. The candidate will get a valid passport to make their dream come true.

Students need to have the following documents for the admission process:

  • The candidates must submit the fully- filled Application form addressed to the university office.
  • The candidates must submit the attested photocopy of S.S.C & H.S.C / Equivalent mark sheets/academic transcript.
  • The candidates should have the passing certificate at the time of MBBS admission.
  • The candidates should school leaving certificates during admission time.
  • Carry migration certificate during admission time.
  • The candidates should submit the MBBS admission fee receipt for admission.
  • The candidates must submit the birth certificate.
  • Indian students must carry the NEET report card and admit card.
  • The foreign students must submit a valid passport photocopy.
  • Submit 4 copies of recent passport size attested photographs for MBBS admission.
  • Submit the original medical certificate from a doctor.
  • The students must submit their COVID-19 reports.
  • The candidates should submit the student visa.
  • Submit the original and copy of the higher secondary education mark sheet.

Note: The original documents will be retained by Mainamoti Medical College and Hospital until verification or passing of 1st professional examination whichever is later.
