The campus of the Dhaka Community Medical College is located in the center of Dhaka city at 190/1, Boro Moghbazar, Wireless Rail gate, Dhaka-1217, Bangladesh. At present, Pre clinical, Para clinical & clinical academic activities are running in 12 storied (under construction) building . Clinical Services, teaching and training activities are held in adjoining 500-bedded hospital complex. The medical College Hospital is 14-storied building (Under Construction). At Present Hospital Building is 12 storied. The college has access to urban and rural health care centers at different places of Bangladesh.

Dhaka Community Medical College offers 5 years MBBS course approved by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of Bangladesh. Affiliated by University of Dhaka, recognized by Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC). In addition dental unit for the course of BDS was started in the year 2013-2014 & is going on.

Eligibility for Admission

Medical aspirants should fit into the basic Eligibility criteria to enroll in the medical program:

  • The applicant shall complete the age of 17 years on or before the 31st December of the admission year for MBBS.
  • The applicant must have passed in 10+12 or equivalent exam in the subjects of physics, biology, English and chemistry.
  • The applicant must have obtained a minimum score of 50% marks together in physics, chemistry and biology subjects.
  • The open category students must secure an aggregate of 45% scores in PCB subjects.
  • The students who belong to ST/SC/OBC category must secure an aggregate of 50% scores in PCB subjects.
  • The applicant must be qualified in NEET examination for MBBS admission.

Admission Process:

  • The applicant must fill the online application form available on the official website with correct details.
  • The applicant must upload all the scanned copies of the required academic documents.
  • After the application evaluation, the applicant will get an offer letter from the Dhaka Community Medical College within a couple of days.
  • Once the offer letter arrives, the applicants must pay the first year tuition fees of Dhaka Community Medical College. The applicant must quickly apply for the visa process.
  • The applicant is supposed to pay the visa fee, visa processing will take 30 days. The applicant will get a valid visa to fly.
