Country & Education
Universities are teaching under “Bologna Process that is European Credit Transfer Scheme or ECTS” that means the course is compatible in all countries in Europe including UK and Germany. The Ukrainian method of teaching is at par with that of the rest of the world and thus students find acceptance in fields of work as well as places of higher education elsewhere.
Medical Universities Listed in the WHO Directory of Medical Schools, FAIMER, International Association of Universities, European University Association and Medical Council of India etc. The students who have completed their medical degrees in Ukraine are permitted to apply for International Licensing exams like USMLE (USA), PLAB (UK) and MCI Screening Test as well as licensing exams in any other country. Graduates can apply for license with Medical Councils of more than 180 countries. Ukraine follows a high standard of education and teachers here are all highly qualified.
Passing the Screening Test enables you to get the MCI registration to practice in India as a Medical practitioner. Once you are registered with MCI as a Medical Practitioner, you are in no way different from any doctor who has studied in India. In fact, your exposure to European systems and practices should give you a distinct edge. The Screening Test is fairly simple in comparison to the Competitive Entrance Tests one takes in India for MBBS admissions. Ukraine is Located in Eastern Europe, Ukraine is the largest country within the continent. Ukraine has temperate continental climate in the mainland with Mediterranean climate on the coastal belt. Winters vary from cool along the Black sea to cold farther inland. Average annual temperatures range from 5.5-7 °C (42-45 °F) in the north, to 11-13 °C (52-55.4 °F) in the south.
Education for Foreign Students: Ukraine has the Europe’s largest international student population, with nearly 20,000 students choosing to broaden their education and life experience in the Ukraine. From the mid-1990’s, when international student enrolment was only just reaching 5,000, international education in the Ukraine has come a long way. At present there are more than 3000 Indian students studying in Ukraine in different fields.

Student Life in Ukraine: Ukraine is a place where studying goes beyond the classrooms. Student life in Ukraine does not differ a lot from that in other European countries. Universities provide students with books and relevant studying materials. Libraries with computer rooms are also available. Student life in Ukraine is noticeably cheaper than life in other European countries. Studies usually take 80% – 85% of the students’ time. The rest is spent on fun activities and socializing.
Currency: Hryvnya (UAH) = 100 Kopiyok (singular-kopiyka). Notes are in denominations of 200, 100, 50, 10, 5, 2, and 1 hryvnya. Coins are denominated in 50, 25, 10, 5. Foreign currency is readily changed at numerous currency exchanges on the streets or in banks. International ATM cards work in most ATMs.
Eligibility:
The student shall complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission. The student should have obtained 50% marks in the 12th standard examination. Students belonging SC/ST and OBC category are eligible having 40% marks in aggregate in the 12th standard examination and NEET Qualified any one time in last 3 years.
