Established in the year 1995, Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College is a private medical college situated in Sylhet, Bangladesh. JRRMC is a centre devoted to excellence in education and developing leaders. This private medical college has an affiliation with the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) and is registered with BMDC.(Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council).
Spread over an approximate area 8.22 acres, the college has 1000 bedded hospitals with latest equipment and facilities.The serve suffering humanity and producing the best force of professional doctors.
The college offers a five years program on a bachelor of medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) followed by one year of internship period. The degree offered by JR-RMC has recognition from Bangladesh medical & dental council (BMDC).
Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College was founded in 1995. More than 700 students are actively learning here & 200 of them are Indian students. It has 1000 bedded well equipped hospital with top-notch health care services & facilities. The college has the approval of the National Medical Commission (NMC) & the World Health Organization (WHO).

Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College, Sylhet is situated in divisional headquarter of Sylhet Division and located at Ragib-Rabeya Medical College Road, Pathantula, Sylhet, Bangladesh. Jalalabad Ragib-Rabeya Medical College, Sylhet which is about 225 km from Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. Sylhet is the land of saints and sufis and may be termed as the spiritual centre of Bangladesh. It is surrounded by lush tea gardens, hills and valleys in a picturesque landscape. It has an excellent rail, road, air and river communications linking with capital City Dhaka as well as Port City Chittagong. It takes only 22 minutes by air from Dhaka to Sylhet and 41/2 hours by road.
The college has two 10 storied twin tower near the hospital building. Six floors of each buildings is now completed and remaining four floors of each building are to be completed very soon. At present the college is having 3,64,600 sft. After completion of the 10 storied twin tower the total floor space of the college will be 5,13,300 sft.

Eligibility for Admission
There is a simple qualification criteria for MBBS course admission based on the following basic requirements:
- Students who have passed secondary education certificates before 2019 are not eligible to apply for admission for the year 2021-2022.
- Foreign students: They will be selected on viva-voce examination on fulfillment of prerequisite, i.e. qualification equivalent to SSC & HSC and equivalence in conformity with the rules of Government of the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh.
- Students must have qualified NEET examinations with the required percentile score of the respective year of admission.
- There should not be a gap of more than a year after the 12th to take admission.
Admission Process:
- Application forms are available between Aug - Sept.
- Organize the academic documents & certificates to attach with the form.
- All the documents must be duly certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, India in regards to Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
- This process should be done through the High Commission/Embassy of India at Dhaka for further submission of DGHS with the mention of JR-RMC.
- The High Commission/Embassy will forward the certificates & mark sheet to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) of Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh for the verification process.
- Make the payment for the tuition fees stated in the official prospect.
- Apply for students VISA with authentic & verifiable documents.
Students need to have the following documents for the admission process:
- A valid copy of the passport.
- Photocopies of the academic certificates of SSC, HSC/ other equivalents.
- Documents submitted by the students must be original.
- Transfer certificate from the former institution.
- NEET clearance result of the candidate.
- Passport size colorful photos taken recently.
- Birth Certification.
- ID Proof such as Aadhar Card or PAN Card.
- Police & Medical clearance report.
